Bio
Jesse Steccato is a New York–trained actor whose work spans film, television, and stage. A graduate of the drama program at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, he made his professional debut at Carnegie Hall with the Aquila Theatre Company and has since appeared in more than a dozen feature films.
His screen work includes collaborations with Richard Dreyfuss, James Cromwell, Maria Bello, Laura Prepon, Brad Dourif, Frank Grillo, Lou Taylor Pucci, Catherine Reitman, and Bryan Greenberg, among others. Known for grounded, character-driven performances, Jesse often inhabits roles that balance authority with moral complexity.
In addition to acting, Jesse has directed theatre productions at NYU, CAP21, the Art of Acting Studio in Los Angeles, and Binghamton University, and has staged readings with The Harold Clurman Lab Theatre Company. His short film Change of Heart won First Prize from NewFilmmakers LA, and his GoDaddy spec commercial became a national finalist, airing during the Indianapolis 500.
As a producer, Jesse helped launch Season One of Fox International’s Single Dads (directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts) and produced and starred in the feature comedy No Room for Groceries, which won Best Comedy Feature at the DIY Film Festival in Hollywood. He brings a collaborative, director-friendly approach to the work.
He is based in Los Angeles.
